Energy-Tel Announces New President of Sales

Energy-tel announces the hire of Thoimas Ballos III, as President of Sales. Thomas brings
twenty years of technology managerial sales experience, strong knowledge and relationships within the VoIP, Internet, Wireless, Pharmaceutical and Technology industries. Thomas was also regional manager for Solar City before relocating back to Richmond,Thomas has grand plans for the sales channel.  His focus will be on expanding the telecom and energy indirect channels.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, December 18) at $4.26 per MMBtu up slightly (2 cents) from last week’s $4.24 per MMBtu (Wednesday, December 11). The NYMEX  January 2014 near month contract declined for the report week (Wednesday to Wednesday) settling  at $4.251 per MMBtu on December 17, ending five consecutive weeks of increases.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was a decrease this week in consumption in all sectors by 8.8% from last week. (Residential/Commercial was down 8.9%, Power down 15.5%).

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage decreased to 3,248 Bcf on Friday, December 13.  Stocks were down a record 285 Bcf for the week.  Storage levels were down 13.1% from last year at the same time and 7.1% below the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, November 20) at $3.68 per MMBtu down 6 cents from last week’s $3.62 per MMBtu (Wednesday, November 13). The NYMEX  November near month contract rose 11 cents for the report week (Wednesday to Wednesday) settling  at $3.674 per MMBtu on November 20.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was a decrease in total consumption in all sectors this week of 6%.  Consumption in all sectors (Residential/Commercial, Power and Industrial). Though weekly data show an overall decline, daily data shows an upswing at the end of the report week probably due to colder weather at the end of the week.

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,789 Bcf on Friday, November 15.  Stocks were down 2.3% from last year at the same time and 0.4% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, November 13) at $3.68 per MMBtu up 23 cents from last week’s $3.45 per MMBtu (Wednesday, November 6). The NYMEX  November near month contract rose 6.8 cents for the report week (Wednesday to Wednesday) settling  at $3.56 per MMBtu on November 13.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was an increase in total consumption in all sectors this week of 15.6%.  Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector was up 31.5%. While the Power Sector and Industrial also increased 6.1% and 4.7% respectively.

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,834 Bcf on Friday, November 8.  Stocks were down 2.0% from last year at the same time and 1.5% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, November 6) at $3.45 per MMBtu down 10 cents from last week’s $3.55 per MMBtu (Wednesday, October 30). The NYMEX  November near month contract fell 12 cents for the report week (Wednesday to Wednesday) settling  at $3.498 per MMBtu on November 6.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was a decrease in total consumption in all sectors this week of 3.5%.  Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector declined 3.2%. While the Power Sector consumption fell 7.1%.

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,814 Bcf on Friday, November 1.  Stocks were down 2.9% from last year at the same time and 1.5% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, October 30) at $3.55 per MMBtu down 11 cents from last week’s $3.66 per MMBtu (Wednesday, October 23). The NYMEX  November 2013 contract expired and settled at $3.496 per MMBtu on Tuesday, October 29 down 12 cents from 1ast Wednesday October 23. The December contract settled at $3.620 Wedneday.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was an increase in total consumption in all sectors this week of 4.9%.  Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector was up 14.1%. While thePower Sector consumption fell 1.2%/

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,779 Bcf on Friday, October 25.  Stocks were down 3.1% from last year at the same time and 1.6% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, October 23) at $3.66 per MMBtu down 19 cents from last week’s $3.85 per MMBtu (Wednesday, October 17). The NYMEX near month (November 2013) price fell 4% to close at $3.619 MMBtu this Wednesday at $3.619 MMBtu.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was an increase in total consumption in all sectors this week of 9.4%.  Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector was up 30.4%. While thePower Sector showed a 2.7% decrease. 

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,741 Bcf on Friday, October 18.  Stocks were down 2.4% from last year at the same time and 2.1% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, October 9) at $3.70 per MMBtu up 9 cents from last week’s $3.61 per MMBtu (Wednesday, October 2). The NYMEX near month (November 2013) price rose from $3.542 MMBtu (Wednesday, October 2) to $3.679 MMBtu this Wednesday, an increase of 13.7 cents.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was an increase in total consumption in all sectors this week of 3.3%.  Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector was up. The Power Sector showed a 3.0% increase. 

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,577 Bcf on Friday, October 4.  Stocks were down 3.7% from last year at the same time and 1.6% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, September 25) at $3.52 per MMBtu down 19 cents from last week’s $3.71 per MMBtu (Wednesday, September 18). The NYMEX near month (October 2013) price fell from $3.713 MMBtu (Wednesday, September 18) to $3.493 MMBtu this Wednesday.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was a decrease in total consumption in all sectors this week of 5.6%. Consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector increased 2.7% and Industrial increased 1.0%.  With weather moderating, air conditioning loads have dropped off.  Consumption in the Power sector dropped.

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,386 Bcf on Friday, September 20.  Stocks were down 5.0% from last year at the same time and 0.9% above the 5 year average.

The Henry Hub spot pricing closed this week (Wednesday, September 18) at $3.71 per MMBtu up 11 cents from last week’s $3.60 per MMBtu (Wednesday, September 11). The NYMEX  near month (October 2013) price rose from $3.567 MMBtu (Wednesday, September 11) to $3.713 MMBtu this Wednesday.

 

According to BENTEK Energy LLC estimates there was a decrease in total consumption in all sectors this week of 4%. Noticeably consumption in the Residential/Commercial sector increased 20.9%.  Consumption in the Power sector decreased 16.1%.

 

According to EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report working natural gas in storage increased to 3,299 Bcf on Friday, September 13.  Stocks were down 5.4% from last year at the same time and 0.5% above the 5 year average.
